Anton ZAZULEAC is a PhD student at “Ştefan cel Mare” University of Suceava, Romania, and his research fields are linguistics, cinematography and audiovisual arts. He is currently writing a PhD thesis on the topic Analysis of cinematic discourse: from translation and adaptation to dubbing and subtitling. He obtained a BA in Romanian and French language and literature (2022) and a double master’s degree in Translation Theory and Practice from “Ştefan cel Mare” University of Suceava and another in Conference Translation and Interpreting from the “State University of Chisinau” in Moldova. While a BA and MA student, he won several Erasmus+ scholarships for studies and internships at the University of Białystok in Poland (2021), University “Paul Valéry Montpellier 3” in France (2022/2023) and ALFMED Language School in Perpignan, France (2024). He is currently a collaborating assistant at the Faculty of Letters and Communication Sciences (USV), where he teaches Romanian as a foreign language.
